A Hero's Misfortune Lore

Of my works so far, this story doesn't exactly follow my in-world rules. When transformation happens, it involves either a trade or transformation into an equal amount of matter. Such as the Forest Witch where Rowan's height is lowered and his extra mass is used to create his new breasts and ass. With Cass though, when is taken captive by Gwen, he is shrunk without an equal trade. This is because the story is not quite canon. A Hero's Misfortune is actually a story within my world and written by a Beseran. That Beseran had written it in order it inspire other Beserans. Their work was so moving that it shaped Beseran culture, resulting in a culture where they believe they are superior. This is something you can see in Olivia and something that will be relevant in chapter five of the Forest Witch.
